“Back From The Dead” is the debut single from Steven Voe and the title track of his first full length record. The song is a resurrection told in real time. It opens underground, broken in pieces and covered in cold dirt, and climbs verse by verse until Voe is back on his feet, greeting the world like an old friend. The production matches the arc: a live band sound with pop at its center and a dream pop haze around the edges, built on real instrumentation and full arrangements.
Written by Steven Awad, the single is also a self portrait in the booth. Voe produced his own vocals and sang every background part himself. The cover, a painted portrait, sets the tone before a note plays: classical light pulling a face out of the dark.
“Hey, hello, yeah, it’s me again. I’m back from the dead.”
More singles arrive through the rest of 2026, each with its own push, leading into the full Back From The Dead album.
